Ghafari hires director of health care practice
Michael Durand, PE, LEED AP, has joined Ghafari Associates as the director of health care practice.
Michael Durand, PE, LEED AP, has joined Ghafari Associates as director of its health care practice. Durand, a seasoned professional with nearly 20 years of engineering and project management experience, brings to the firm a wealth of diverse project and technical experience. In his new role, he will be responsible for strengthening and expanding the firm’s presence in the health care sector and providing principal oversight of health care projects.
Durand is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with honors. He is a Professional Engineer and LEED AP. His industry affiliations include the Engineering Society of Detroit and U.S. Green Building Council. He is a 2010 40 Under 40 award winner.
