In a recent deal, GE Power Systems acquired a couple business units from Honeywell, including certain intellectual properties and equipment used in Honeywell’s fuel cell and microturbine operations.

GE plans to utilize these assets in their research and development efforts for these technologies.

“We’re pleased that these Honeywell operations are now part of our product and services lines,” said John Rice, president and CEO of GE Power Systems. “The synergies that exist between GE and these operations will provide a broader range of services and solutions to the energy industry.”
