Enercon Engineering announces senior management changes
Enercon Engineering , based in East Peoria, Ill., announced the following changes within its senior management group, effective April 15, 2008:
Lawrence Tangel, vice president and general manager, will become the company’s CEO, replacing Edward Tangel, who founded Enercon in 1975, and will now serve as Chairman of the Board.
Additionally, G. Jack Desatnick was appointed as chief operating officier. Desatnick has served as chief financial officer and will continue with this responsibility in addition to his new post. He has over 27 years of experience in senior management in operations and finance.
These senior management changes were made to enable Enercon to better manage its rapid growth, and to focus on a number of emerging opportunities in the power generation industry, according to the company’s press release.
