Mitsubishi Electric expands its commercial Y-Series outdoor units
Mitsubishi Electric Cooling + Heating (Mitsubishi Electric) has made significant updates to its commercial Y-Series outdoor units, providing end users with a system that increases a facility’s energy efficiency. The Y-Series is available in 208/230 V, 3-phase or 460 V, 3-phase units and has an outdoor temperature range of -4 to 60 F when heating and 23 to 115 F when cooling, an increase from the previous model, which reached only 109 F maximum. Available in three module sizes: P72 (36 ¼ in.), P96 (48 1/16 in.) and P120/P144 (69 in.), the Y-Series will exceed proposed ASHRAE 90.1 efficiency ratings for 2010, and sizes ranging from 6 to 20 tons meet or exceed Energy Star light commercial requirements. The CMCN consists of remote controllers, centralized controllers, building management system interfaces, and integrated software. The CMCN provides advanced, user-friendly control for each zone of a building with options for individual or centralized temperature control.
