A valuable resource for designers, CMD Group’s database of U.S.-based architectural firms—created with research of more than 20,000 firms and an analysis of CMD’s database of more than 250,000 projects—is now available in book form, on CD-ROM and on the Internet at www.cmdg.com/profile .

“The database is an excellent source for us when trying to locate a partner firm with the right experience in a particular geography,” said Jon Buggy, a principal with Ellerbe Becket, Minneapolis. “It is also a good way for others to obtain information about firms. It really is the industry’s most current and accurate resource for information on our colleagues.”

The database includes listings for:

  • Type of architecture practice and services rendered.

  • Categories of construction experience with locations of current and recent projects.

  • Staff make-up and key individuals.

  • Street, Internet and e-mail addresses.

  • Phone and fax numbers.

  • Branch office locations.
