Denver-based CH2M HILL recently acquired Lockwood Greene, Spartanburg, S.C., for $95.5 million. Lockwood Greene has been operating since 1832, making it the oldest continually operating U.S. professional services firm. Aerias has released a CD of selected papers on indoor air quality from its Third Annual National Symposium.

Denver-based CH2M HILL recently acquired Lockwood Greene, Spartanburg, S.C., for $95.5 million. Lockwood Greene has been operating since 1832, making it the oldest continually operating U.S. professional services firm.

Aerias has released a CD of selected papers on indoor air quality from its Third Annual National Symposium. A wide variety of topics are covered, including prevention of moisture problems, improving IAQ with low-emitting materials and furnishings, and mold prevention.

Last month, Johns Manville began production of fiberglass pipe insulation in Phenix City, Ala.—just six months after a fire destroyed its plant in Defiance, Ohio. The new location is now a distribution center for all of the firm’s pipe and equipment products.

Edwards Systems Technology has received Frost and Sullivan’s Competitive Strategy Award for 2003. The ward recognizes a firm whose competitive strategy has yielded gains in the North American fire and smoke detection devices market during the research period.
