Alabama seeks school commissioning standards
State officials are looking for proposals for developing commissioning standards for its educational facilities.
The Energy Division of the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA) is soliciting proposals from qualified individuals and firms for the development of building commissioning standards for K-12 schools in the state of Alabama. The ADECA Energy Division further specifies that any standards developed be in accordance with ASHRAE 90.1-2004. The awarded team will also be expected to provide training on the resulting standards for key stakeholders at five geographically distributed workshops.
