He has 19 years of commissioning experience specializing in boiler, chiller and generator controls integration in biohazard environments, health care, research, manufacturing and commercial buildings. This experience makes him a go-to person for his peers regarding technical expertise, controls integration and building automation systems. He is known within the firm for his expertise and impact on building control design reviews, sequence of operations and functional testing. Ashmore preserves the firm’s valued client relationships and is seen as a consistent knowledge resource and key to the success of projects. He recently won awards for his work on local Texas medical centers. He goes out of his way to help others understand how systems work and is eager to share his knowledge with those who work with him. Along with his supportive nature at work, Ashmore has also been actively involved in CANstruction as part of WSP’s team for six years. He also has made an impact on his community through coaching several youth soccer teams and his involvement with the Dallas Habitat for Humanity chapter, finding different ways to come together with his community to helping to break the cycle of poverty and transform communities. However, Ashmore wouldn’t be able to do the work he has without the support of his wife and two young sons.
