Senior Associate, CJL Engineering, Johnstown, Pennsylvania BS Mechanical Engineering Technology, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown

This position allows him to take on more in-house management duties. He has had an integral role in developing and creating the standards that the mechanical department uses to design and operate. Hale initiated monthly internal training seminars to mentor all mechanical designers and engineers on CJL’s standard for design. Topics include code changes, load design, equipment design and new software. He also leads the firm’s Johnstown office in the company’s Managers in Training program. This group is comprised of selective senior leadership who are viewed as the future of the company. In addition to this day-to-day routine, Hale is also a member of ASHRAE and ASHE where he regularly attends national and state level seminars and conventions. He enjoys golfing and whenever he has a chance, he will be out on the course. He also enjoys nights out with his friends and wife attending escape rooms. Currently, he and his wife have completed six escape rooms. This means of entertainment provides a unique blend of social interaction with challenging puzzles and communication building. Hale enjoys playing the guitar. Although he is just starting to learn, the hobby provides a new way for him to learn something both difficult and beautiful. Hale enjoys all of these activities with his wife of six years and their three children. Sharing activities with his family brings the greatest joy to him.
