Retaining a consultancy position with AEI, Vogt entered the graduate program at Kansas State University, where she also became a faculty member in the Department of Architectural Engineering and Construction Science. She rejoined the firm full time in 2012, combining her knowledge and experience in the design of research buildings with her authoritative assessment of developing trends to advise higher education and commercial facility owners anticipating key capital projects in their futures. In 2017, Vogt accepted the offer to become the managing director of the firm’s Denver office, opened to support front-range health care projects and research facility work throughout the state. She continues to engage in raising funds for the Kappa Kappa Gamma Sorority; the Junior League; and the Manhattan, Kan., and Littleton, Colo., United Methodist Church and associated children’s activities. Her efforts through these organizations focus on women’s and children’s services and scholarships. She enjoys golfing or softball and soccer in the yard with her husband and three daughters. She also loves literature, playing classical guitar, and assembling the perfect campfire.
