Soudagar joined KJWW Engineering Consultants in 2007, coming from New York Presbyterian Hospital where he was an in-house clinical engineer charged with additional duties of being a medical equipment planner in a facility with an annual medical-equipment-replacement budget of $35 million. Within 3 years of joining KJWW, he became a senior medical equipment planner. He is now a project executive. In addition to holding the largest project portfolio among the firm’s medical equipment team, he assists with business development and plays a major role in developing and presenting for client interviews. Soudagar has demonstrated his ability to lead large and small medical equipment planning projects. He establishes his credibility early and works collaboratively with owners, architects, project managers, and health care clinicians to guide projects from design to a successful conclusion post-construction. Within the firm, Soudagar’s unbending commitment to high quality has driven much of the KJWW medical equipment team’s marketing success and its growing national reputation. He assists in the training of new hires and is the leader of the team’s support staff in KJWW’s India office. He has been a proponent of the company’s venture into virtual reality BIM, which takes 3-D modeling to the next level and allows clients to be fully immersed in a design at an early stage. Soudagar and his wife enjoy traveling with their two young sons, experiencing the world as a family and making adventurous memories. In addition, he is a huge sports fan and enjoys watching cricket, professional tennis, and NFL games. He also finds decorating his house to be an outlet for his creativity.
