Isaac Fedyniak may be young, but he’s already collected an impressive list of experience and is a standout among his peers. Previously a senior project manager and electrical engineer with a consulting engineering firm, Fedyniak has been a key player in a number of high-profile projects, including several of the first net-zero facilities in the country. As the sort of rare individual that can take a seed of an idea, develop it into something better, and execute it with fully functioning results, Fedyniak understands that engineers are more than just problem-solvers—their contributions impact the present and future. Fedyniak combines his extensive academic knowledge and technical skills with a hands-on practical understanding of how design requirements get implemented in the field. A born leader with a philanthropic heart, Fedyniak has taken the initiative to mentor young engineers and has invested time and energy in his alma mater for no reason other than his desire to see its engineering program move forward. Most recently, Fedyniak has accepted the challenge of developing a new Building Solutions division at Big Ass Fans, reviewing new product development and building system designs, managing relationships with third-party vendors, and developing sales and training processes for the rest of the company. When not working, he enjoys events and activities, such as camping, hiking, Crossfit Maximus, working on a friend’s farm, and extreme mud races.
