Since joining TLC in 2006, Ferris became an authority in the healthcare division through hard work, dedication, constantly striving to expand his professional repertoire, and unparalleled client service. He is a husband and father of two whose top priority is spending time with his family. Ferris brings a strong sense of personal integrity to every project and is universally respected by colleagues and clients. He is a born teacher and willing mentor who encourages his co-workers to master new technical challenges and pursue professional credentials. With more than 12 years of engineering experience, he has extensive knowledge in power distribution, power generation, and specialty systems such as voice/data, telephone, and security for a variety of building types including hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities. Ferris has served as project manager for numerous new hospitals and hospital expansions including the $121 million U.S. Green Building Council LEED Gold certified West Kendall Baptist Hospital in Miami. Ferris is the first to volunteer for additional assignments, especially outside of his comfort zone. He eagerly tackles magazine articles, webcasts, presentations, and speaking roles. Outside of work, he enjoys being active, especially skiing with his wife. Ferris loves all outdoor activities, from heading to the beach with his family to losing a box of balls on the nearest golf course. He likes to cook and approaches it like a construction project.
