Denson is dedicated to his family, to promoting a more sustainable future in the office and beyond, and to inspiring a new generation of engineers. He has accomplished a great deal in his young career while balancing a growing family and serving his community. As a part of the Sustainable Solutions Group of SSRCx, Denson manages and takes part in energy-related services for the design and operation of buildings through decision-driving energy modeling and lifecycle cost analyses. Through his efforts, Denson helps projects achieve higher levels of energy savings, earn utility incentives, and comply with green building rating systems and mandates. Denson is considered an expert on energy modeling methods and procedures and has been asked to consult on various projects and lead “lunch-and-learn” training classes. Denson’s extensive knowledge on energy modeling has made him a popular speaker and author outside of SSRCx. Denson is a leader at work, but he dedicates a majority of his time to his wife and three young children, one of whom has Down syndrome. He particularly enjoys family vacations and watching movies at home with his wife. In an effort to maintain focus and to strive for balance, he sets goals to cover all aspects of his life, specifically professional, family, spiritual, financial, and personal development. Giving back to the community has always been important to Denson, as he is an Eagle Scout. He enjoys escaping to nature on hikes and participating in Habitat for Humanity projects.
