With more than 11 years of experience in fire protection engineering consulting, Johnson brings a great deal of zeal and knowledge to Rolf Jensen and Assocs. (RJA). In 2010, he helped the office exceed its yearly sales goal by nearly 70% while managing more than a third of the office’s project load. Johnson has experience as project manager for almost all types of projects including commercial buildings, healthcare, higher education, and laboratories. Clients are always pleased with the innovative and cost-effective solutions he proposes to complex challenges. In one recent project, Jason solved a fire separation issue, arranged agreements with the local jurisdiction and state fire marshal, and saved his client $1 million. His infectious smile and sales prowess enable him to engage a large number of consultants across the firm and clients across the country. Johnson’s dedication and leadership skills earned him the company’s Manager’s Award in 2008, and he was nominated for the Leadership Award last year. Outside of work, Johnson lends his technical expertise as a committee member for NFPA 45: Standard on Fire Protection for Laboratories Using Chemicals. He recently presented practical life-safety solutions at the 2011 Central Region Assn. of Physical Plant Administration Conference, and he often gives presentations to clients about code consulting and fire protection systems. Johnson is a devoted member of his church, where he serves on the long-range planning committee. He set up a charity golf tournament to support several local community outreach programs, including Alcoholics Anonymous and Crossroads (a safe haven for teenagers). Johnson is dedicated to improving the lives of less fortunate people, which is why he takes time to teach at Financial Peace University at his church, where families learn about setting financial goals, eliminating debt, and saving for the future. Johnson also enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
