WSP Flack + Kurtz names Meyer VP of Commissioning

Engineering firm WSP Flack + Kurtz announced that Paul M. Meyer would be VP of Commissioning for the N.Y. office.

Global engineering firm WSP Flack + Kurtz has named Paul M. Meyer to the post of Vice President of Commissioning in its New York office, effective immediately. In his new role, the 55-year-old Meyer will oversee and grow WSP Flack + Kurtz’s commissioning practice in the New York City and Washington, D.C. markets.

“Paul is widely recognized as one of the top experts in the building commissioning industry,” said Mark Warren, Senior Vice President of WSP Flack + Kurtz, who heads the firm’s nationwide commissioning practice.  “He’s been very active in industry associations, and is at the forefront of new developments in commissioning.  We’re delighted that he’s joined us.”

Previously, Meyer served as a senior engineer at Horizon Engineering.  He is a former treasurer on the board of directors for the Building Commissioning Association-Northeast Region, and currently is acting secretary on the board of directors for the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)-Long Island chapter.  He is also chairman of the USGBC’s Education Committee and an adjunct instructor at Stony Brook University.
