The wiSeries wireless sensors designed by Newport Electronics Inc. provide Web-based monitoring of temperature, humidity, and barometric pressure. Conducted through a radio that is IEEE 802.15.4 compliant, the communications can transmit at more than 3,200 ft. The receiver connects to an Ethernet network and the user monitors and records the data through a Web browser without the need of additional software. The units are housed in a weatherproof polycarbonate, NEMA4/IP65 rated material.
