The American Wind Energy Association produces the Windpower Conference and Exhibition, designed to provide information, networking, solutions to wind energy professionals, May 22 - 25, 2011, in Anaheim, Calif.
The Windpower Conference and Exhibition is produced by the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) to provide a venue for the wind industry to network, do business, and solve problems. The 2011 Conference & Exhibition will be held May 22 - 25, 2011, in Anaheim, Calif.
Windpower includes nearly 1,400 exhibiting companies, thousands of qualified wind energy professionals, engaging educational information and unmatched networking opportunities and special events. As a venue to discuss perspectives, methods and strategies for maintaining and increasing profitability in an environment of technical, economic and political change, Windpower is an event to learn about the latest industry developments and new technology.
Organizers say the conference will feature over 50 educational sessions organized into 5 tracks covering policy, business and technical issues designed to enhance knowledge and expertise. Other programs include: Scientific Sessions, which present more technical information; Poster Displays, exhibiting the latest wind issues; General Sessions, open to all attendees; Power Sessions, covering broad topics on key areas of the wind industry; and Pre-Conference Seminars, demonstrating specific topical areas of the wind industry.
