When projects change lives

There is nothing better than reading an article about how our projects are changing lives—it's why we do what we do.

There is nothing better than reading an article about how our projects are changing lives—it’s why we do what we do. This Chicago Tribune piece about how the IU Health Neuroscience Center is changing lives through the power of robotics is inspiring (see IU Health Neuroscience Center Changes Lives with Robotics article from the Chicago Tribune). The story focuses on a patient who was shot and paralyzed from the neck down. Through physical therapy at the center, he can now move his body from side to side and shift his weight on his hips after only months of treatments. The center uses video game technology to help patients fight to get their independent life back. This specific patient is working to hopefully be able to walk again.
