11/13/2015

Bernhard Capital Partners (BCP) (Baton Rouge, LA) acquired ATC Associates (Lafayette, LA), an environmental consulting, industrial hygiene, and engineering firm. Bernhard Capital Partners acquired the firm from Cardno Limited (Fortitude Valley, Australia) (ENR #23) which had owned it since 2012. Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (Sparks, MD) (ENR #75) acquired Trumbull Construction Management Services (TCMS) (Pittsburgh, PA), a division of Trumbull Corporation and one of the leading transportation construction management and inspection firms in Pennsylvania. Link to details

ENR’s #14 ranked global design firm, Atkins (Epsom, UK) signed an agreement to acquire the Projects, Products and Technology (PP&T) segment of EnergySolutions (Salt Lake City, UT), an international nuclear engineering services business. PP&T is comprised of 650 people delivering services for the decontamination and decommissioning of high hazard nuclear facilities and for the environmental remediation of nuclear waste storage sites. The Missman Group (Rock Island, IL) has acquired Studio 483 Architecture (Rock Island, IL). As part of a simultaneous transaction Gere/Dismer Architects (Rock Island, IL) and Scholtz Gowey Gere Marolf Architects & Interior Designers (Davenport, IA) merged to form Studio 483 Architecture and The Missman Group acquired the firm. Parametrix (Seattle, WA) (ENR #162) announced that InterPlan (Midvale, UT) has merged with the firm, establishing a permanent presence in Utah and expanding the firm’s capabilities in the intermountain region. InterPlan specializes in transportation planning and traffic engineering. Parametrix provides services in transportation, environmental planning and compliance, water, and community building.
