Huntington Ingalls Industries (Newport News, VA), a designer and builder of ships for the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard, has entered into an agreement to acquire UniversalPegasus International (UPI) (Houston, TX), a 1,500-person provider of engineering and project management services to the energy industry. Global energy and infrastructure consultancy RPS Group (Abingdon, UK) acquired environmental consultancy GaiaTech Holdings ("GT") (Chicago, IL). GT’s 85 employees provide a broad range of environmental, scientific and engineering services, primarily to the U.S. industrial sector. Link to details
