Lu Engineers (Rochester, NY) has been acquired by Cletus O. Ezenwa, P.E. (Buffalo, NY). The firm will nearly double its workforce to over 40 and Ezenwa will serve as the CEO. Ezenwa was one of the two founding partners at Prudent Engineering (East Syracuse, NY) where he recently sold his shares to the remaining partner. Link to details

PDR Engineers (Cairns, Australia) joined SMEC (Melbourne, Australia), ENR’s #69th ranked global design firm. PDR provides structural, civil, geotechnical and mining engineering services to government and corporate clients. Link to details

COWI (Lyngby, Denmark) (ENR #218) acquired Projektbyran (Stockholm, Sweden), a company that specializes in project management services. The acquisition strengthens COWI’s competencies in the management of large, complex urbanization projects. Link to details

ENR’s #166 ranked international design firm, ACCIONA (Madrid, Spain) acquired The Geotech Group (Port Melbourne, Australia), an engineering and construction company.
