International engineering, architecture, planning, and construction firm, Pond & Company (Norcross, GA) (ENR #230), acquired Landmark Engineering (Jacksonville, FL), a firm that specializes in highway and structures design. Link to details

International energy services company, Wood Group (Aberdeen, UK), announced it will acquire Amec Foster Wheeler (London, UK) (ENR #5) in an all-share takeover deal worth about $2.7 billion. The combined firms will have enhanced capabilities, diversified across the oil & gas, chemicals, renewables, environment & infrastructure and mining segments. Link to details
