ENR #270 ranked civil engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying firm, Timmons Group (Richmond, VA) announced its merger with Mitchell Environmental (Fuquay Varina, NC). Mitchell Environmental specializes in environmental and soil sciences, primarily for land development and infrastructure improvement projects. This represents the fourth deal for Timmons Group since May of last year. Link to details

Willdan Group (Anaheim, CA) acquired two privately-held energy efficiency engineering companies, 360 Energy Engineers (Lawrence, KS) and Abacus Resource Management Company (Beaverton, OR). Willdan provides outsourced professional technical and consulting services to public agencies, public and private utilities, and commercial and industrial firms throughout the United States.
