Industry leader Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT)(Sparks, MD) (ENR #75) announced an agreement to acquire Kennedy Consulting Inc. (KCI) (McKinney, TX). The combination strengthens JMT's commitment in Texas while providing EA support to KCI's existing clients. Link to details


McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture (Greenville, SC) (ENR #458) merged with INSITE strategy + architecture (Charleston, SC). McMillan Pazdan Smith is a regional, studio-based design firm specializing in master planning, architecture, and interior design services. Link to details


Stantec (Edmonton, Canada) (ENR #19) divested its operations in India to a core group of leaders and senior staff in Ahmedabad. The new company, called INI Design Studio (Ahmedabad, India), will continue to provide design and client services. Link to details


Engineering, surveying, planning, and environmental science firm, Morrison-Maierle (Helena, MT) (ENR #347) acquired Holm, Blough and Company (Cody, MT), a provider of civil engineering and land surveying services. Link to details


Treanor Architects (Lawrence, KS) merged with H+L Architecture (Denver, CO), the combined company will have about 150 employees. The merger will add H+L's expertise in health care design projects to Treanor's experience in a broad range of markets. Link to details 


3tarchitects (Troy, NY) merged with McKinney MacDonald Architects (Latham, NY) and the combined firm will practice under the 3tarchitects name. Link to details 


EBA Engineering (Baltimore, MD) (ENR #411) acquired geospatial technology firm geographIT (Lancaster, PA). With the acquisition, EBA will now offer integrated geographic information system, information management, and asset management solutions to clients. Link to details


Freiheit & Ho Architects (Kirkland, WA) acquired Officewraps (Kirkland, WA), an interior design firm that specializes in medical and dental environments. Freiheit & Ho provide architectural and interior design services across a diverse range of commercial project types. Link to details


ENR's #31 ranked top global design firm, AF Group (Stockholm, Sweden) acquired Alteco AB (Bollnäs, Sweden), a 30-person firm with a main focus on transmission and distribution. Link to details


ADG Architects (Darlington, UK) merged with Blackwell Architectural Services (Newton Aycliffe, UK). The merger provides ADG with extra resources and experience in agricultural, industrial, and residential work. Link to details
