Global natural and built asset design and consultancy, ARCADIS (Amsterdam, Netherlands) announced that it intends to acquire Callison (Seattle, WA), a high level architectural and interior design consultancy. ARCADIS will acquire Callison from its primary owner, Blue Point Capital, company management and principals. Link to details

ARCADIS’ active dealmaking continued as the Boards of ARCADIS (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Hyder Consulting (London, UK) announced that they have reached agreement on the terms of a recommended increased cash offer for ARCADIS to acquire Hyder. The increased offer is in response to a higher bid from Nippon Koei on August 8th. Link to details

Architecture, electrical engineering, and interior design and planning firm, NAC|Architecture (Spokane, WA) and Osborn Architects (Glendale, CA) announced that they have merged. Osborn’s headquarters and NAC|Architecture’s Los Angeles office will physically merge into a new Downtown Los Angeles location. The office will presently be referred to as NAC|Architecture, but will introduce its new identity in the coming months. Link to details
