Also, Tom is a member of the NFPA 99, 101, and 5000 Technical Committees.  He edited the 6th and 7th editions of the NFPA 99 Handbook, and co-authored NFPA’s book entitled Fire and Life Safety in Health Care Facilities.  Tom is the past chair of the SFPE Engineering Education Committee and is the 1st Vice-Chair of the NFPA Health Care Section.
