The Aura Qpump Inverter+ is designed to provide energy efficiency through improved energy recovery and can be incorporated into almost any hydronic loop. Courtesy: Desert AireDesert Aire's Aura Qpump Inverter+ is designed to provide energy efficiency through improved energy recovery and can be incorporated into almost any dedicated outside air system (DOAS). Features include VFD inverter compressor technology, coax refrigerant to water heat exchanger, and electronic expansion valves (EXV). The QPump Inverter+ also features a liquid-suction heat exchanger to increase the cooling capacity in the cooling/dehumidification mode. It also has a non-reverse cycle valve arrangement that allows for lower heat pump operation. In addition, the QPump has a variable speed driven compressor and precision capacity control valve and algorithm to assist the system to maintain precise leaving air temperatures, even at part load applications.
