Panasonic's Combined ECOi EX two-way conditioning solution has a two-pipe heat pump specifically designed for commercial and residential applications. Courtesy: PanasonicPanasonic's Combined ECOi EX two-way conditioning solution is designed for large-capacity jobs including commercial and residential applications. The two-way mini ECOi is a two-pipe heat pump specifically designed with numerous commercial and premium residential applications in mind. Mini ECOi is available in two sizes with cooling capacities of up to nine indoor connectable units. The system also offers the added flexibility of simultaneous cooling and heating from one refrigerant pipe network. ECOi EX offers multiple applications and installation configurations. In an effort to reduce air resistance, a single-surface fan guard is used instead of a 3-D guard with five surfaces. And a new curved bell mouth assures smooth exhaust flow. Both of these technologies prevent swirling and result in an increased flow rate.
