Carlo Gavazzi’s WM20 three-phase power analyzer is a modular class 0.5S (kWh) 3-phase power analyzer that can be used for single-, 2-, and 3-phase systems. It is capable of measuring most relevant instantaneous electrical variables, harmonic distortion, and energy generation or consumption. Four versions are available to manage up to 600 Vac systems with a choice of either a 1 or 5 amp current transformer input. All information gathered is available on a large, bright LCD display and can be transmitted by one of the available communication protocols: including Modbus (RS-485, TCP/IP), BACnet, (RS-485, TCP/IP), and Profibus. The new rotating pages function automatically shows all measurements in a sequence without having to scroll manually through the keypad. The WM20 power analyzer can be used as a stand-alone meter or as a part of a complete VMUC-based energy management system. This analyzer can be used in a wide number of applications, ranging from building automation (for monitoring of the mains or sub-metering) to industrial automation (for monitoring variables and consumption of a single machine, or for the mains of an entire manufacturing facility).
