Courtesy: Bell & GossettThe Suction Diffuser Plus by Bell & Gossett uses Flow Cone technology to provide ideal flow conditions for the pump, retaining as much as 5% more of its intrinsic efficiency than similar products and extending the life of the pump. The flow-straightening device helps pumps maintain efficiency while addressing ASHRAE and MEI efficiency guidelines by improving flow conditions and eliminating recirculation zones, which reduces energy waste. Other features include internal components that are completely removable as well as a large-diameter orifice cylinder designed to prevent debris from entering the pump suction. It also has a full-length straightening vane for uniform flow patterns for the pump inlet to provide consistency for the operation.
