Skyline units received OSHPD certification recently. The OSHPD seismic testing on the Skyline outdoor air handler units was conducted by experts in seismic analysis and design at the University of California-Berkley to make sure essential services buildings such as hospitals, fire stations, police stations, emergency shelters, and data centers remain operational and habitual following an earthquake. Installation of OSHPD certified units requires the use of specific fasteners and predetermined spacing for anchoring bolts, as well as with specific code requirements.
