Parts of Johnson Controls’ HVAC damper products will now be manufactured and, in some cases, marketed by the Ruskin Co., Kansas City, Mo.

By March, Johnson Controls’ economizer dampers will be manufactured, marketed and sold under the Ruskin brand name. Ruskin also will take over the manufacturing of vent and control dampers, although these products will continue to be marketed, sold and distributed by the Milwaukee-based Johnson Controls.

Through Ruskin’s acquisition of these Johnson Controls assets, both companies hope to expand their product lines and international customer base.
