03/16/2012

ClimateMaster provides the Tranquility Rooftop (TRE) Series geothermal heat pump is available in 3- to 20-ton capacity units. The TRE Series offers the option of introducing a fixed amount of outside air year-round or employing a modulating economizer to provide no-cost cooling when outdoor conditions are favorable. TRE units exceed ASHRAE 90.1 efficiencies and are designed for an extended range of source water temperatures, making them suitable for closed-loop or ground source closed-loop systems. With the ground loop conditions, the efficiency can range from 15 to 18 EER. The TRE Series unit includes high-efficiency scroll compressors and belt drive monitors. The TRE Series is designed to be mated to an ERV unit for maximum energy efficiency in a make-up air unit.
