Courtesy: ViegaViega's Venturi press inserts help maintain water quality by reducing stagnation in seldom-used fixtures. When water flows through Venturi press inserts, the flow velocity increases, resulting in a local, low-pressure region. The low-pressure area at the outlet induces flow through a remote loop, reducing stagnation with a minimal overall pressure drop. Venturi inserts can be installed vertically or horizontally, as well as on hot- or cold-water systems, between ProPress tees with the Smart Connect feature. The inserts can be used for reducing stagnation to seldom-used, individual fixtures. They can also be used with Viega ProPress double-drop elbows to supply remote fixtures while promoting flow.
