Siemens compact and modular Sitop PSU8600 is a power supply system.

03/26/2015

Siemens compact and modular Sitop PSU8600 is a power supply system. Only 125 mm wide, the power supply system's space-saving base unit provides 40 amps. It is capable of providing 50% extra power for short time periods and is 94% efficient. The output current threshold can be set from 0.5 to 10 amps and output voltage from 12 to 28 V. The base unit can be expanded with up to three modules for additional outputs and two buffer modules for bridging short power failures up to 600 ms. Up to 16 integrated PROFINET output interfaces with selective monitoring are available with the system and may be individually set for voltage and threshold current. Comprehensive operating and diagnostics information is available through the interfaces. Condition monitoring and power data acquisition functions further enhance availability and efficiency.
