A new pocket guide released by the National Fire Protection Association promises to be a handy tool for engineers as a quick reference for fire sprinkler system installation.

‘The guide gives quick access to formulas, conversion tables and rules that would take some time to find if you had to look through various NFPA standards,’ said the book’ s author David Hague, P.E. ‘We have pulled together the critical information that contractors use daily, including ANSI standards for fittings and guidelines and data for all types of piping applications.’
