Bearing protection guarantee, free trial on downtime reduction circuit monitoring system and new automation and controls center

10/16/2007

Bearing protection ring installed properly on a new AC motor (up to 100 hp / 75 kW) now comes with lifetime guarantee from manufacturer that the motor will not fail from bearing damage due to electrical fluting. In the event of such a failure, the company will pay to replace the bearings, up to 35% of the original motor cost. Downtime reduction circuit-monitoring system is now available in a 90-day trial program. The program, offered for a limited time, provides customers a site assessment, support services, and system components to allow testing of a specific customer-selected process before expanding the system to other critical circuits. Automation and control innovation center opens in Raleigh, N.C., on Friday, Oct. 26, 2007. The hands-on demonstration center will showcase automation and control solutions. Customers who visit the center will experience individually tailored, live demonstrations to show how technology, knowledge, and products can solve their specific problems.
