AC Data Systems

SWITCHER provides 85 watts of triple-output power and incorporates power-factor protection. Incorporates wide-range universal input voltage and frequency ranges of 85-265 VAC and 47-400 Hz. The first of its two main outputs can be adjusted over a range of 1.8 to 3.5 volts, and the second can be adjusted over a range of 3.3 and 5.5 volts.

Astec Power

VOLTAGE REGULATOR is single-phase and pad-mounted. Available for system voltages ranging from 2,400-volt three-wire to 24,940-volt four-wire, and current ratings from 50 to 548 amps. Standard features include a CL-5 control, an automatic pressure-relief device, 3kV under-oil series arrester and provisions for a pressure/ vacuum gauge and thermometer.

Cooper Power Systems

SWITCHING POWER SUPPLIES can be used with either 110 VAC or 220 VAC inputs. The 24-VDC, DIN-mounted units are available in 5 watts to 480 watts, and with outputs ranging from 1 amp to 20 amps. Universal auto-ranging makes them available for AC input voltages of 90-264 VAC single-phase or 340-480 three-phase.

Automation Systems Interconnect

POWER-QUALITY RELAY can detect line disturbances that damage HVAC, security and automation controls. At less than one-tenth the size of traditional power-quality monitors, the devices can be used as a standalone diagnostic tool or as part of a building-automation system.

Power Standards Laboratory

SWITCHBOARDS are rear-connected and incorporate the manufacturer's circuit breakers. Units are designed for data-processing centers, telecommunications switching stations and other high-tech applications, and can be serviced or upgraded without losing power to a facility.

Square D/Schneider

WEB SITE describes power-control systems and equipment, and provides detailed specifications and drawings that can be downloaded or ordered. A contact section helps users locate local sales representatives and provides e-mail links to sales, purchasing, field-service and after-market personnel.

Russelectric Inc.

TRANSFER SWITCH BROCHURE highlights electrical ratings, performance, design and construction features for the series' four major switch categories. Optional logic devices are also covered.

GE Zenith Controls

SURGE-PROTECTION DEVICE is designed for installation between electrical panels, within stud walls or in other tight locations, and includes a NEMA 4 enclosure suitable for outdoor use. Units feature audible alarms and Form-C contacts for remote monitoring.

ERICO, Inc.

WEB SITE has been updated to incorporate new features such as on-line quote requests, access to downloadable product literature, ordering with secure credit-card transactions and application notes.

Magnetic Shield Corporation

UPS SYSTEM features a modular design, with hot-swappable 4-kVA power, battery and system-control modules. Available in 8- and 12-module chassis, modules incorporate self-diagnostic capabilities and automatically take themselves off line in case of failure, while functioning modules continue operation.

Sola/Hevi-Duty

SENERGY-MONITORING SOFTWARE monitors and measures energy use of any electronic point or metered service, including gas, electric, water and steam. The program shows real-time current energy usage and allows users to generate reports and analyze current and historical data. It also allows cost comparison against on-site generation, energy-cost allocation, and remote control of lights, heat, backup generation and manufacturing processes.

Eaton Corporation

MEDIUM-VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR features a one-high design to enable venting of gases that can occur during an internal arcing-fault event. It incorporates circuit breaker, low-voltage, main-bus and cable-connection compartments into single-unit sections, and is air insulated with vacuum-interrupter circuit-breaker technology.

Siemens

POWER CONDITIONER is designed for critical computing, industrial and medical systems. Units carry UL 544 listing for medical applications, and optional hospital-grade receptacles are available. Features include power-factor correction, harmonic attenuation, galvanic isolation, surge protection and transverse-mode noise attenuation.

MGE UPS Systems

SURGE PROTECTOR is offered in two models, both of which are 2-receptacle, 8-amp standalone units designed to protect computer systems. IEC model comes with an IEC connector, like those found on CPUs, and is available with wide voltage-range technology to allow international use and use where brownouts may occur.

Zero Surge Inc.

CABLE SLEEVING is constructed of metallized textile materials to provide electromagnetic shielding and mechanical protection of wire and cable assemblies. The self-wrapping design is intended to ease installation and removal, as well as provide easier inspection access.

Federal-Mogul

POWER-DISTRIBUTION TERMINAL combines with terminal block to allow for a wider array of conductors to be wired. The product inserts into a spring-tension slot on the terminal block, and features two wiring-connection points.
