NRF wet rotor circulators for heating systems are highlighted in a recently released bulletin. The circulators are equipped with 3-speed motors, which allow the pumps to cover a wide range of hydraulic capabilities. Benefits include

high starting torque, heat-resistant and non-metallic closed impeller design and self-cleaning particle shield. For more about NRF-36 and NRF-45 from Bell & Gossett, click here .

Germicidal lamp and ballast for HVAC features a 14-in. 24-volt lamp that operates from inside an air-conditioning unit to purify the coil and airstream, reducing the potential of airborne and surface bacteria, mold and other microorganisms. The lamp is available in 14-in. and 16-in. arc lengths and has a 5-ft. cable from the ballast to the lamp. For more about the Eliminator14/24 Series from American Ultraviolet, click here .

Intelligent pump system is said to help eliminate costly downtime and expensive repairs caused by dry running, blocked lines, pump overloads, closed suction or discharge valves, cavitation, and excessive wear or rubbing. Users can program the system to respond to process and condition variables to protect pump equipment against adverse operating conditions, thereby optimizing plant output and pump availability and lowering total cost of ownership. For more about IPS Tempo from Flowserve, click here .

Steam program is a visual tool created for engineers, designers and contractors to design and model HVAC steam systems using intelligent objects. The software is a Windows-based drag-and-drop program that allows for modeling of steam generation, steam distribution, steam utilization and condensate-handling systems.
