Submeters provide standard interfaces using Modbus serial (RS485), RJ45 Ethernet Modbus TCP or 802.11 Wireless Ethernet Modbus TCP. KYZ energy pulses are also available. Using the standard Modbus interface allows the unit to be interfaced to almost all energy management and SCADA systems eliminating the need for proprietary software and communication channels.
