New Products for Electrical and Communication Systems

IP console switches manage up to 4,096 servers locally or remotely, and map drives on workstations, target servers and perform application and OS upgrades, firmware upgrades or even installations. Multiple levels of encryption and authentication ensure enterprise-wide security. For more information about IP Console Switches from Hewlett Packard, click here .

Power-distribution block features high SCCRs up to 200 kA and is listed to UL1953. The device can replace low-rated power-distribution blocks to achieve higher assembly short-circuit current ratings. These new power-distribution blocks can be used to meet the new 2005 NEC requirement in section 376.56(B) for wireways. For more about PDB Series from Cooper Bussman, click here .

Wiring duct is UL94 recognized for use in temperatures up to 50the cover that allows for marking or labeling with temporary ink. For more about Ty-Duct from Thomas & Betts, click here .

Molded-case circuit breakers offer a broad range of protection for DC applications in a small footprint. The units are suited to applications such as battery UPS systems, transit applications and DC backup systems in power plants and substations. With ratings of 800 amps to 4,000 amps and voltage ratings of 600 volts DC floating and 500 volts DC loaded, the breakers are suitable for use on ungrounded, uninterruptible power supplies.
