PDF software is said to help CAD users share, collaborate and review documents more efficiently. Users can create PDF files from CAD and Windows applications and view, markup and edit them quickly and easily to improve productivity. There are three editions of the software: Standard Edition for MS Office, general CAD and Tablet PC users; AutoCAD Edition for users of Autodesk AutoCAD products; and SolidWorks Edition. Project time-tracking application for Windows Mobile-based PDAs, version 2, includes several changes and new features. The software now supports Windows Mobile 5, and reports can now be filtered for a specific client, project or task. It interfaces with Project Clock software for Windows. When away from their PC, a user can track time on a Pocket PC device. For more information on Project Clock CE from CyberMatrix Corporation, visit www.cybermatrix.com .

P roduct data quality and 3-D model comparison tool analyzes, identifies and highlights potential shape and fit geometry and topology problems within CAD models that may affect their re-use in downstream applications, such as simulation, data exchange, rapid prototyping and tooling. The unique CAD model comparison functionality also allows users to compare the geometry and topology of two, three or four different CAD models in order to validate CAD system migration and remastering of legacy CAD data. New capabilities and enhancements include updated multi-CAD system support; a new STEP Validation Properties Module; new and enhanced model quality analysis and comparison diagnostics; improved performance for extremely large CAD model analysis; and new Excel-based statistical analysis and comparison of batch model quality diagnostics results.
