NEBB fume hood seminar
NEBB's seminar will focus on performance testing with hands-on demonstrations as well as HVAC concepts and discussions on safety enclosures.
NEBB’s fume hood performance testing seminar is scheduled for Sept. 9-13, 2013, at Labconco in Kansas City, Mo.
This review seminar will provide attendees an overview of Fume Hood Performance Testing in accordance with the NEBB Procedural Standard together with hands-on airflow velocity, airflow visualization and tracer cas containment testing. Also included are laboratory HVAC concepts and discussions of environmental safety enclosures like fume hoods, biological safety cabinets, and other containment enclosures.
The seminar will feature a review of the various fume hood designs and HVAC systems that are currently employed in laboratories as well as basic operation of fume hoods, their respective applications and features.
