NEBB appoints 2013 board of directors

The National Environmental Balancing Bureau appointed Stanley Fleischer to lead the board as its president for 2013. Robert Linder will serve as president-elect.

The National Environmental Balancing Bureau (NEBB) held its 2012 Fall Board of Directors meeting  October 5 to 6 in Seattle. During the meeting, 2013 Board of Directors was appointed. 

Stanley (Stan) Fleischer is the 2013 NEBB President. Fleischer is the President of Seneca Balance, and has more than 34 years’ experience testing and balancing office buildings, hospitals, government facilities, research laboratories and complex building systems. Stan has been on the NEBB Board of Directors and the NEBB Executive Finance Committee. He has served in the Capital MarVa NEBB Chapter as President, Technical Chairman and Board Chairman and other roles. He is the lead proctor for NEBB’s Capital MarVa Chapter and NEBB for the Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing discipline. He is the past chairman of the NEBB’s TAB committee and a member of ASHRAE and SMACNA.

Fleischer commented on his appointment, “It is an honor and a privilege to be the NEBB President. I am pleased to have the opportunity to expand upon the foundations laid by NEBB leaders. I would like to thank the 2012 NEBB Board of Directors for their contributions. I am looking forward to working with the 2013 NEBB Board of Directors to lead NEBB into an era of new opportunities.”

Robert (Bob) Linder, P.E., LEED AP, NEBB CP, will serve as President-Elect in 2013 and will assume the role of NEBB President in 2014. Linder has over 17 years of management and leadership experience in the areas of commissioning, retro-commissioning and Test & Balance. He is the past Chairman of the NEBB’s Building Systems Commissioning Committee and is a member of NEBB’s Board of Directors. Bob is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
