The Zone/Motion Dimmer converts an ordinary fixture into a zoned fixture based on occupancy using any low-cost security type motion sensor.The Zone/Motion Dimmer for lighting fixtures are an energy saving product. The Zone/Motion Dimmer converts an ordinary fixture into a zoned fixture based on occupancy using any low-cost security type motion sensor. It comes by itself  or with a ceiling mount motion detector. Both fluorescent and LED troffers with 0 to 10 V dimming controls are supported, and up to ten troffers can be driven by a single dimmer. The product is compatible with existing wall switches and converts any zone so the lights are bright when occupied and dimmed when unoccupied. Adjustments are provided for both the brightest and the dimmed level as well as the timeout after occupancy ends. Substantial energy savings have been reported.
