A KJWW Engineering associate is named a voting member for an ASHRAE subcommittee, Cannon Design names its vice president, SmithGroup promotes one of its own to associate.

Jeff Boldt , associate principal for KJWW Engineering, Madison, Wis., has been named a voting member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers 90.1 Mechanical Subcommittee . This is the first time that a KJWW employee has been named to this committee. The 90.1 committee sets forth minimum energy conservation measures for building envelopes, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and lighting systems.
Cannon Design, St. Louis, named Ruofei Sun, PE, SE , vice president. Sun has more than 17 years of experience providing engineering services to a variety of clients in structural analysis and design, seismic engineering and structural vibration design. He has served Cannon Design since 2000.

The Chicago office of SmithGroup Inc . promoted Scott Baker to associate, senior project manager. Baker joined SmithGroup’s Chicago office as a part of its Workplace interior design practice following the merger with AREA Design Ltd.
