March 4 Southland Industries update: Roughing in systems, ceilings and diffusers complete, parking garages underway, beginning to prepare to start chilled water plant

Roughing in systems on levels 2, 4, 5, and 6; ceilings and diffusers are complete or near completion; all 3 parking garages are underway; preparation to started the chilled water plant is underway.


As of March 4, 2014:

  • Southland Industries is currently roughing in systems on levels 2, 4, 5, & 6 in the hospital. Basement, levels 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 drywall walls are underway.
  • The West Clinic has ceilings & diffusers are complete, the North Clinic has diffusers going into the ceilings, the South Clinic has drywall being installed on levels 1, 2, and 3.
  • All 3 parking garages are underway.
  • Southland Industries is beginning to prepare to start the chilled water plant, the refrigerant will be charged into the chillers in the coming weeks.
