Manage Greenbuild time smartly

Greenbuild attendees can now reserve sessions and manage personal time through Greenbuild scheduler.

Greenbuild Boston offers more educational sessions, more events, and now, more assurance that you'll be able to get into the sessions you want to attend. Event planners learned that attendees wanted pre-registration for educational sessions, so this year the Greenbuild team is introducing the Greenbuild Scheduler .

With the scheduler, you'll not only know where your desired educational sessions will be held, but you'll know that your seat is confirmed as long as you show up 10 minutes before the start. The scheduler takes the guesswork out of your conference experience, helping you compare, prioritize, and schedule your sessions, plus add personal appointments as well. Register now to get started.

Full conference registration opened last month. That means you can start signing up for on-site LEED workshops, evening events, green building tours, and outdoor Boston events. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to the Greenbuild Scheduler. This Web-based tool allows you to scroll through all of the educational sessions offered, flagging sessions of interest. Once you’ve read through the list, the scheduler will help you prioritize your sessions, then place them on a calendar, alerting you to any time conflicts you might have, and ask that you decide which session you will attend.

The Greenbuild Scheduler doesn’t stop there. Juggling a personal schedule and keeping up with work at the office can be challenging when you’re attending a conference. Using the scheduler, when you view your personal schedule, all of your purchased auxiliary events, such as LEED workshops, tours, and outdoor events will be pre-populated along with your educational sessions. Best of all, the business meetings, breaks for coffee with friends, or evening events you plan to attend can be added as well. Your final schedule can be e-mailed to you, printed, or sent to your Outlook (or other format) calendar for viewing on your handheld device.

Greenbuild is now ticketless, and more importantly, self-service. Your scanned name badge will get you into all of the events you purchased and all of the educational sessions you chose. This year, when you have to miss a session because a call comes in from the office or you have a deadline to meet, you can simply visit one of the dozens of self-service kiosks around the convention center and use the scheduler to rearrange your day.
