Courtesy: LumenOptixLumenOptix's LRD3 is a Retrofit Downlight Luminaire (LRD) and is designed to replace quartz halogen metal halide downlights and provide increased energy efficiency. The LRD3’s 6,000 to 8,000 lumen versions are ideal for recessed lighting upgrades in large auditoriums, malls, airports, and other public areas that feature high ceilings. In addition to more than 40 different LED module options, LumenOptix’s range of optical distributions, anodizing finishes, and aperture sizes offer hundreds of different configurations. Additionally, the LRD3 family’s sunset dimming capability in lower-wattage versions enables these LED fixtures to achieve the appealing ambiance of incandescent and halogen technology by shifting to “warmer” color temperatures as the module dims.
